What the tune-up covers

What it costs

Service visits carry a $45 diagnostic trip fee, and the tune-up is quoted before we start. If we find a part that needs replacing, you get that price separately and decide then.

What is the difference between a tune-up and a repair?

A tune-up is preventive: inspect, lubricate, tighten, balance and adjust. A repair replaces a part that has already failed. Many visits start as one and turn up the other, which is why we quote before doing the work.

Can I lubricate the door myself?
