This is our second time choosing 1A Garage Doors, and the second time for a broken spring. The garage door is our main source of entry and exit. They came out quick (same day as our call), within the time slot they gave us - and he completed the job super quick! As the owner of a residential property management company, I must ensure our vendors are reliable, responsive and reasonably priced. 1A Garage Doors checks all those boxes. They've been providing service for the properties we manage for many years. I cannot recommend them enough. They take care of our tenants and and do quality work. I canned 1A for a garage door spring replacement. They had a same day appointment with a 2 hour window which was nice since most companies have a 4 hour window. Vince arrived on time and was professional and quick with assessing the situation and his quote. Quote was best price of the three I received and service was quick. I will go to 1A for any future garage door needs/repairs. Also love the 3yr parts warranty + 1yr on labor.

I've reached out to 1A twice on Yelp in the last 4 years and each time, they are fast at responding to my inquiry, am able to quickly set up an appointment, have my issue fixed timely, price is reasonable and no hard sell! These are the things I look for when I'm seeking repair work and there's a reason why they have such great Yelp ratings.
The first time I reached out, one of the springs on the garage door snapped so def a job best left to the professionals. The 2nd time, which was a couple months ago, Andre came out (and funnily, we think he came out to my house for the first issue I had too) to check on my finicky garage door that would, from time to time, refuse to close and the motor would whirl with no action.
OF COURSE when he came to the house, the garage magically started working again. Andre was great in that he explained to me it could be the sensors, maybe it could really be the whole unit but was absolutely up front about how he didn't want me to feel like I needed to necessarily replace the whole thing just yet (seeing as I wasn't quite ready for that) and to try replacing the sensors first and if it still persisted, then we'd go from there. I'd long had a hunch something was up with the sensors so we decided to go with that and he oiled the track to help it run smoother.
To date, haven't had an issue with the garage opening and closing and quite honestly, I most appreciated Andre looking out for me on what worked for ME and not that he was trying to upsell me on a whole new unit if there was a lower cost option that we could try first. And believe me, that whole unit is not cheap. Again, 1A is my go to for garage door issues for a reason, as not only is their pricing ver fair, it's the customer service that has won me over. As someone who has worked in a retail environment for a long time, I always said that you will always retain your customers if you do what's right for them, and not just because you're trying to make the hard sale!

Contacted a few businesses based on Yelp reviews around 10PM to replace my broken spring and upgrade my motor to a new one. Vince responded promptly that night and got me an appointment the next morning with Andrey. Andrey came within the timeframe they provided and was friendly and clearly an expert in his field. I felt that he charged me a reasonable amount for the job and I would highly recommend this company for your garage door needs.

5 star rating for these folks!! Discovered our garage door would not open at 9:45am. Was referred to 1A Garage Doors and called them at 10:15am. Daniel arrived at 2:00pm to fix what turned out to be a broken spring. The door was up and running by 2:35pm the same day!! Not with just one new spring, but TWO new springs. Awesome!!

This is the second time I've used 1A Garage Doors and I highly recommend them. The first time I called I was sure I was going to need something replaced but all that was needed was some trivial maintenance. This impressed me and led me to reach out again years later when my door spring broke. Even though it was late on Saturday he was able to come by and replace the spring and fix some other issues first thing Monday morning. In both cases everything was explained in plain terms, he made sure I understood the options and completed the work quickly. I will definitely be using 1A for any future garage door needs.

My garage door spring broke. I left a message for 1A Garage Doors at 11pm. By the next morning the company owner (Vince) showed up in a company wrapped truck and logoed shirt making it easy to know who had arrived. Vince replaced my broken spring with a much longer one with a 30% higher cycle rating. He also helped program my built in car transmitter while he was there. Professional, prompt, and courteous. We called 1A Garage Doors in the morning and Vince arrived three hours later to replace a broken spring on our double door garage. He was fast and professional and replaced the spring. He then lubricated the hinges and our other doors spring and hinges as well. Vince was very professional and friendly. I felt the price was very reasonable and I highly recommend Vince and 1A!!!

As always, A1 come through again with outstanding service. I came home to a broken spring, called A1 and they were able to come out and replace/upgrade within 3 hrs. I can’t ask for better service and quality. Their price is higher than typical places but quality is unmatched. I am a faithful customer. Great owner and helper.
