Repair visits work differently: they carry a $45 diagnostic trip fee, because the technician has to find the fault before anyone can price the fix.
What the free new door estimate covers
- A measure of the opening, headroom, backroom and side clearance.
- Styles, materials and insulation options from the brands we install that suit your opening.
- A check of your existing opener for compatibility and battery backup, which California requires when a replacement door is connected to an opener.
- A written quote, plus the lead time if the door has to be ordered.
Why repairs carry a trip fee
A repair price depends on what failed. A door that will not close might need a sensor adjustment or a new spring, and the technician has to inspect the door, springs, cables and opener to know which.
