Do you install new garage doors or only repair them?

We do both. Most of our calls are repairs, such as broken springs, opener problems and off-track doors, but we also install complete new garage doors. When an existing door is rusted through or its panels are damaged, we will price a replacement against the repair and tell you plainly which one makes more sense for that door.

We install doors from Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, CHI and Windsor. If you already have a model in mind, tell us when you call and we will quote it.

What a new door installation includes

• An on-site measure of the opening, headroom, backroom and side clearance.
• The new door with track, rollers, hinges and springs sized to that door's weight.
• Removal and haul-away of the old door and hardware.
• Opener setup, including travel and force limits, safety sensors and the auto-reverse test.
• A walkthrough of the door, the manual release and the remotes before we leave.

Repair or replace

If the door is sound and one part failed, a repair is usually the sensible choice. Replacement is worth comparing when sections are cracked or rusted through, when the door has been hit, or when several parts are failing at the same time. The new door estimate is free, while a repair visit carries a $45 diagnostic trip fee, and either way you see a written price before any work starts.
